Our Take: The Maritime Hotel is famous for the beautiful people that congregate there. And while sometimes the attitude can be a bit much, we think it's worth it tonight. And why tonight you ask?

Cat Power: Well, last week we were the first online publication to announce the last minute Cat Power shows at the hotel's Hiro Ballroom. For those too slow on the draw, head over to the Maritime Hotel and see if you can catch some of the show bleeding from the ballroom. Cat Power is storming NYC of late as part of a MOMA Exhibition and now a series of sold-out shows, including one at MOMA just this week. And even if you can't catch NYCs favorite new rock star, warm yourself up with some fancy cocktails, a snack from one of two restaurants and the heat eminating off some of the town's prettiest people.
