MON-TUES -- IN THE SUN

Our first four months were wintery cold, so we focused on places that would keep you warm. But it looks like the seasons have finally worked themselves out and we might have a proper Spring after all. So we're starting out with a little Spring cleaning. Here are some places with outdoor seating that we told you about back when it was too cold to take advantage. Now's the time. And here's a little heads up - NYC is filled with little hidden outdoor spots that will make your night. Don't worry, we'll be telling you about them all summer long. Have a favorite outdoor spot? Click here to let us in on your little secret.

FOOD & BOOZE: OUTDOOR SPOTS (again)

CAFECITO -- Click here for original post -- East Village Cuban joint with outdoor bar. Grab a cuban sandwich and a mojito in the sun. (pictured)

INOTECA -- Click here for original post -- Lower East Side Italian wine bar and restaurant. Last time we told you to try the speck. We went back and think the even less well known culatello beats it out. We also loved the 2004 Fausti Syrah. And the helpful service.

MAX -- Click here for original post -- East Village neighborhood Italian joint with an outdoor area in the back. (pictured)

SHAKE SHACK -- Click here for original post -- Gramercy Park burger joint. Worth the wait.
